The sound is dull and loud, as a buzz in the ear i hear
and the feet that crawl inside of me
that tickle and tap, tickle and tap
what could it be?..

Not a bug i assume, or i'm not sure
yes a bug perhaps, but maybe not
i'd hate to imagine such a thing
but to ignore it would be worse

My hearing, it grows dull and faint
but what could it be?..
it does not hurt
it does not bother me..

I am mad, that's it!
and i have hairs in my ears like on my nose
that is all.. nothing more
i'll just ignore..

In my pockets
but a stamp and pennies i keep
though not for myself you see
but for a certain miss i'll meet

One day i hope
to see the lassie of dream
for the fullfilment of my goal
to share all that i own

And for that day to come
it may be a huge wait to some
but for me, i've grown patient and numb
for the rum i've become

So here i'll await
by the stars and dreams and freights
to delight in delucion
and deny disilusion..

But not lastly to say
with anguish and ache
that this cognizant heart long
will shatter or break
